Autobiography

I am a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas. I received a degree in History with a minor in Medieval Studies. For the last several years I have taught history and coached high school basketball at Heritage Christian Academy in Rockwall, Texas. I was first inspired to teach by my father, an English and History teacher for well over thirty years. Later, as a student at SMU, I had the good fortune to study under an outstanding group of historians dedicated to the teaching and mentoring of students. I have been married for a little over two years to a wonderful woman -also a teacher -named Rebekah. We currently reside in Terrell, Texas with our two dogs, Charlie and Healy.
